The Nations’ Fresher Disco is back to light up interdisciplinary fun at Botta on Monday, 2 September 2024, from 21 to 3 o’clock! The event, which has previously filled Tavastia Club to capacity, is returning to take over Botta once again. The atmosphere will reach new heights as amazing live performers take the stage, followed by a DJ who will set the dance floor on fire later in the evening. This party will leave no one cold, so grab your student friends and come spend the evening at the interdisciplinary nation party!
Entry requires only being 18 years old and having a student card – you do not need to be a member of any nation yet. Older students are also more than welcome to the dance floor! Entry for nation freshers costs €2, while for cives and others it is €4 (additionally, all participants must pay a cloakroom fee of €3.50). A nation fresher is considered to be a first-year nation member or someone interested in joining a nation – you do not need to be a first-year student!
Before the Fresher Disco, you can explore the world of nations at the HYY Opening Carnival on the same day or at Nations on Display the previous Saturday. Many nations also organise their own pre-parties before the Fresher Disco, and those arriving in the company of a tutor or fresher coordinator can skip the queue for free!
