Vertical Sitsit are here again! For the third time, the Co-Delegation of Student Nations brings all nations people the joy of this captivating four-storey feast at the New Student House on Sunday, 31 March! At these sitsit, the mood rises not only metaphorically but literally, as each course is served on a different floor. In addition to the company, the premises also represent multiple nations, and we get to experience everything the former Nations House has to offer!
The sitsit begin with a cocktail reception in the Alina Hall on the 3rd floor at 17, where we will also enjoy the entrée from 17:30 onward. For the main course, we move upwards to ESO on the 4th floor. We’ll enjoy coffee in the Wilhelmsson Hall on the 5th floor, and for dessert and the afterparty we get to enjoy the atmosphere on the 6th floor on Vinni.
All nation members are warmly welcome to the all-nation sitsit, and we hope the event will be as cross-nation as possible. Come and spend a fun evening with good food, drinks and the best student songs in the company of members from all nations!
The ticket costs €17, and you can redeem one for yourself on Kide.app after registration opens on Wednesday, 13 March at 13:00!
The dresscode for the sitsit is cocktail attire with the nation ribbon and the student cap.
The order and safety of the event are managed by the CDSN board together with the personnel responsible for the nation premises. In case of harassment or other problems, you can contact the CDSN’s harassment contact persons using the harassment contact form (available in Finnish and Swedish). The event follows the safer space principles of the Student Union of the University of Helsinki (HYY).
Consumption of alcohol at the event is featured prominently, but one can participate in the event alcohol-free, and there is no pressure to drink alcohol.
The New Student House is a mainly accessible space. There is a ramp in front of the main entrance stairs. There is a set of stairs in the entrance hall before the main lift, which can be accessed using a lifting platform. Using the main lift requires a key. All floors have an accessible toilet.
